Producer Information Allan Scott Family Winemakers is a New Zealand wine producer of the Marlborough region, established by the eponymous founder in 1990. The estate was one of the first independent boutique wineries of the Marlborough region and today, remains family-owned. The estate vineyards are located in Rapaura along the northern edge of the Wairau Valley. Here, young silt and clay-based soil types combined with cool night time temperatures and high sunshine hours creates ideal terroir for viticulture. The Wallops Vineyard is one of the oldest within the company’s holdings, planted in 1985 by Allan and Catherine Scott originally for contract growing. The flagship range of The Eli Collection is a duo of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, sourced from the best plots of the family estate.
