Yeringberg Chardonnay 2018

Yeringberg Chardonnay is a sophisticated wine produced in a cool climate, featuring subtle hints of fermentation in French oak barrels. This gives it a perfect balance between the bold, traditional, toasty Chardonnay and the modern, fresher styles for which the Yarra Valley is known. This classic style of Chardonnay appeals to both traditionalists and contemporary wine lovers. The grapes, grown on some of the region’s oldest vines, provide a superb balance of soft fruits and gentle creaminess. It pairs beautifully with pork, poultry, or risotto. Yeringberg, a farm, vineyard, and winery located in the Yarra Valley, was established in 1863. It is now managed by the de Pury family, the fifth generation of forward-thinking custodians.
